A big part of reducing euthanasia was reaching out to the people of Albuquerque. To get out the word, we worked hard to establish strong relationships with members of the the media in all forms including print, radio and television. The media was extremely helpful in getting out our message to people about issues like spay/neuter and how to adopt pets. One of our greatest advocates in the media was Terrie Q. Sayre. I recently came across this interview done by our departed friend Terrie with me about animal issues. We miss you so much Terrie. Your loving spirit, your work, and your love of animals lives on through this video.
