Lilly is has been with us for over 6 months now. She is a sweet, cuddly, and goofy girl who loves romping with other dogs and an enthusiastic game of fetch (she’s still working on the “bring it back” skill set). Lilly has been with us so long, because she is very fearful of meeting new people and will bark at them (particularly men, so if you have an all lady household, Lilly could be your girl!) Once she adjusts, she is fine, but she will probably always need slow intros with guests that come over. If you think that Lilly sounds like she is worth a little work (which she is!) she would love to meet you, and show how a 65 pound can indeed still be a lap dog! Lilly is at the Bernalillo County Animal Care and Resource Center located at 3001 2nd St. SW, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Due to COVID-19, you can call (505) 314-0281 or (505) 468-7387 and leave a message and they will return your call to set a time and date for an adoption appointment to meet her.
