Albuquerque Animal Welfare Wants Cat Owners to Beat the Heat by Making a Reservation for Free Spay/Neuter for Cats
Albuquerque, NM – Warmer weather is around the corner and Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department wants you to “Beat the Heat” by spaying your cat in advance of her heat cycle and preventing unwanted litters from being born.
On Tuesday, June 19, the Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department will be taking reservations for free spay/neuter surgeries for cats. A total of 100 reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Requirements to make a reservation:
- Must be an Albuquerque resident with proof of residency
- Cat must weigh at least two pounds
- Two cat maximum
Cat owners are reminded that they should not bring their cats when making a reservation. The information listed below are to secure your reservation only, not to perform the procedure.
When: Tuesday, June 19, 2018
Where: Eastside Shelter at the Clinic door on the north side. 8920 Lomas Blvd. NE
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., or until Animal Welfare reaches 100 reservations.
