Zeke (A019180) YOU KNOW THAT GUY! He’s your son, your brother, your husband, your boyfriend, or maybe he’s the guy you always run into fly fishing in the Jemez or hiking in the Gila (or maybe you’re that guy?!). That guy is laid back and casual and probably wears jeans and boots and drives a pickup truck … or maybe a Jeep. But you know that guy is missing something … Zeke. Yes, Zeke is just what that guy needs. Zeke is a large, black, 2-year-old, male cattle dog (or something) mix who needs to be with that guy. Like that guy, Zeke is smart, and when he can focus his young mind, Zeke knows sit, down, and shake. Like that guy, Zeke is fun, friendly, and energetic, and he loves to hike and walks well on leash. Zeke would be the perfect companion for serious guy adventures. Or if that guy is interested in relaxing with a cold one (perhaps a stuffed, frozen Kong?) in the comfy shade of a tree, Zeke is all for that, too. And Zeke needs that guy. Zeke was brought to the shelter by a Good Samaritan who rescued him after he was dumped and abandoned by the side of the road. Despite his harsh beginning, Zeke has not lost his joie de vivre, his sense of adventure, or his love of people. Come and visit Zeke at the Bernalillo County Animal Care and Resource Center, 3001 2nd St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105, or you can call (505) 468-7387 for more information.
